Misogyny

In the paintings titled Misogony, I examine its contempt for or against women and how that manifests itself in numerous ways. I am working in a contemporary sculptural painting technique and using the flower image as it relates to the feminine and the ephemeral. The absence of color suggests purity, mourning, faith, and enabling a fresh beginning.
